Where is Sharpened Recovery based?

We are a New Zealand sports recovery solutions company that ship is shipping worldwide.  

What is Sharpened Recovery about?

At Sharpened Recovery, our mission is to go beyond just another “massage gun” brand in this market. We want to take recovery to a whole new level, from our small island. 

Sharpened Recovery is going to be bringing together a the sports community together of like-minded individuals, who value physical fitness, sports recovery and mental wellness.


We are a young company with grand ambitions and what you are seeing now is only the beginning - the best is yet to come!  

MAINTAINING YOUR PRODUCTS

How do I clean my Products?

Use a slightly damp towel to clean the exterior of your products. Antibacterial wipes may also be used as an alternative. Afterwards, use a dry towel to wipe off moisture.

DO NOT use harsh cleaning products (bleach or other chemicals).

DO NOT wipe the inside of any device

How do I maintain my product?

Over time, like all other motors or items that go through numerous repetitions, normal wear and tear may cause the device to get noisier.

You can remedy this by applying electric motor oil on the metal ring where the attachment heads go.

Squeeze electric motor oil around the inner and outer part of the metal ring, allowing it to seep for at least a few minutes before using the device.

Only use electric motor oil to lubricate the device.

DO NOT use automotive oil as this type of oil is too runny and thin for electric motors, and contain detergents that will damage the motor on your device.

What should you NOT DO when using my products

Do not disassemble and try to “repair” your Massage guns and heart rate monitors. Contact customer support if you find any issues with your device.**

Do not use any massage guns while it is charging.

Do not insert your finger or any foreign object in the part of the gun where the attachment heads go.

Do not use your massage guns while you are swimming or anywhere near bodies of water. While the device itself is corrosion resistant, accidentally submerging it in water will damage it completely.

Do not overcharge your massage guns as this can adversely affect its battery life.

Do not expose your massage guns to open flames.

WARRANTY & RETURNS

How long is the warranty for our products?

If within 1 year (12 months) from the date of purchase, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, Sharpened Recovery will repair or replace the product, or necessary components, free of charge.

To send your product in for warranty replacement or repairs, contact our customer support for instructions with your dated proof of purchase.

Our warranty excludes:

(a) physical damage caused by accident, abuse, mishandling, or transport;(b) if product has been tampered with or repaired by unauthorized parties;

(c) units not used according to Sharpened Recovery care instructions;

(d) damage exceeding the cost of the product;

(e) deterioration of the delivered product resulting from abnormal storage and/or safeguarding conditions on the customer’s premises;

(f) failure to provide the dated proof of purchase, and

(g) Products purchased from an unauthorized retailer.

Can I return products after I've purchased it?

Our goal is to make sure you have a great experience with all our products and your new purchase. However, if in any case you need to return an item, here’s how you can do so.

Do take note of these points when returning a product purchased from Sharpened Recovery.

You have 30 calendar days from the date you received your products order.

Please be sure to include your original product order number, or else our team will not be able to issue you a refund. If you cannot find your order number, please contact our support team before shipping your unit, and we would be happy to assist you.

Only items that have been purchased directly from sharpenedrecovery.com can be returned

If your unit has been used or opened, a restocking fee will apply.

Sharpened Recovery does not cover shipping costs or insurance for returns. Contact our customer support team for a return address.

Please ensure that the item you're returning is repackaged with all the cords, accessories and documentation that were included when you received it.

You will be responsible for ensuring the returned product is working and all parts are present.

Do note there will be a 7% restocking fee for all returns.

Can I get a refund after purchasing my products?

Once our team receives and inspects your returned product, our accounting team will initiate your refund within 7-10 business days. An email confirmation will be sent to the address associated with your order, detailing the amount refunded. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method.

We do not accept returns/exchanges or allow refunds for individual items.

What if I want to cancel my purchase?

As we work very quickly to ensure the product reaches you as soon as possible, there is an extremely small window of time after an order is confirmed to make any changes. Reach out to us at support@sharpenedrecovery.com should you need to make any edits to your order.

If you cannot pick the unit up from the original address, Sharpened Recovery will then contact you to confirm a desired address change.

If you would like a refund, upon delivery, you can refuse the package and it will be sent back to our warehouse. Once the package has been returned, we will then contact you confirming your refund.

How long will it take to receive my products?

For orders in New Zealand, your products will reach within 2-3 business days.

Overseas purchases will be delivered in 10-14 business days.

Where do we ship from?

Our products are shipped from New Zealand. Our delivery partners are Aramex, and DHL Express for international orders.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the tracking information. Should you come across any issues with tracking your package, please feel free to reach out to us at support@sharpenedrecovery.com, and we’ll work to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
